I hate when people don’t pay attention. Amazon has a problem where the DVD of the 1995 version of Copycat starring Sigourney Weaver has the VOD linked to a new 2008 Copycat that doesn’t have Ms Weaver. Evidently this customer service person wasn’t understanding the problem

Hello,
Thanks for writing about being linked to a different version of the movie “Copycat” when clicking on the link on the DVD page.
I’ve checked our catalog and confirmed that the 1998 release of “Copycat” isn’t currently available from Amazon Video On Demand (http://www.amazon.com/videoondemand). Currently the 2008 release is available which is the movie that you were linked to.
The content we offer through Amazon Video On Demand depends on our agreements with content owners. We’re constantly working to establish and improve these agreements so we can offer the largest selection of movies and TV shows possible.
I thank you for letting us know what you want from your digital video service. Customer feedback like yours is very important in helping us continue to improve the service our Video On Demand store provides.

Hi Customer Service,
I understand that they aren’t the same movie, and that the 1995 version (not 1998) is not available VOD, my problem is that FROM that page you say that it is available and you are linking to the 2008 version. I really don’t think you should be telling people that it is available for VOD when what you link to is a different product. Also it is mis-leading because all of the reviews for the 1995 version are showing up with the 2008 and again is VERY mis-leading. This really should be corrected.

Will they announce the tablet finally? Doubt it
Will they announce new iPods? Doubt it, though I hear they are adding camera’s!
Will they announce Beatles? Could be seems like there is a lot of buzz there.
We’ll find out the answers to these questions and more…
UPDATE AFTER EVENT:
Okay well I have to say I was REALLY disappointed. They did add A camera to the Nano, it’s the only really big news. Looks like they are targeting the Flip Video camera, which I can see. But to limit adding the Camera only to the Nano is really disappointing, and I don’t believe it does still images.
Aside from that it was mostly bump upgrades in capacity and a re-alignment of the prices like they typically do. There is some internal hardware bump for the iPod supporting OpenGL, but it looks like I’ll be waiting for either a tablet next year or the next upgrade of the touches where they will hopefully add the camera.
So all in all it was an average event, I’ll give it 3 out of 5 L’s
oh and will I go run out and buy a nano, doubt it, maybe this holiday season, but I’m not ready to run out and buy another iPod yet.
Okay so I’ve had a second watching of Melrose Place and hear is what I think, they are off to a GREAT start. BTW as pissed as I was that they teased me with her return all summer and then killed her in the first 15 minutes I’ll be pissed if they leave the Sydney return at the simple toss in that Michael help fake her death. I’ll by into if they dive into it a little more as you must with all things Melrose, and I have a hunch that they will.
My guess, Violet Foster is going to end up being Sydney’s long lost daughter and that’s some how tied into why she needed to fake her death. Though I’m still trying to figure out who’s David’s mother as well as Mancini’s current wife, she’s what the 10th wife? My guess is Taylor is David’s mother and she must have re-married some Breck.
I totally love the Jonah & Riley as the updated Billy and Allison. The start of their marriage at the end of Sydney’s life is TOTAL Melrose. But marriages and Melrose just don’t mix, simply ask Jane Mancini/Andrews, who’s slated to guest star, I assume for Sydney’s second funeral? I also hear Jo is going to be coming back, I hope more are slated, even just for a guest appearance.
As much as I would love for Amanda to come back, it really doesn’t make much sense. She and Peter got their “Happily Ever After” of course if they leave Sydney’s return to a simple one line anything is possible. It is Melrose.
The CW’s got a great beginning going on, and starting with the mystery of who killed Sydney Andrews is going to drive me nuts, I hope it leads up to a truly MELROSE filled season of compromising principles, lost direction and shocking revelations. BTW the new Apartments are LUSH and defiantly an upgrade from the original yet still has that great spanish villa feel that the original did.
