Has anyone else seen this? PLEASE it is. Especially the "As I was shaking his hand, he sort of… ran into my knee. He ran into my knee three times.".(Link) And why are we not seeing this all over the news? I’m guessing it’s not real because instead I’m given Cindy and Steve Jackson Friend of John Mark Karr & 2nd Wife Lara in Alabama on Larry King. Um, seriously who the hell cares?

The FAA admits fault for not following the process they developed but who is going to be held responsible? They are already saying that it wouldn’t have mattered if they had two people on staff.(Link) Who is going to compensate the families. And speaking of compensation…

Why is it Insurance Companies are wiggling between wind and flood damage for New Orleans? The only thing I heard about New York Insurance was that Silverstein saying it was two attacks or they say one but they still paid out over 5 billion.(Link) What’s the point of paying if they don’t have to return the favor?

Last week, J.D. Hayworth attempted to divert attention from his Jack Abramoff ties by making a false and reckless charge that Harry never donated campaign contributions from Charles Keating in the 1980s. Hayworth’s false charge prompted front-page news coverage in the East Valley Tribune and another story in the Arizona Republic. Harry held a press conference and told voters that they should expect higher ethical standards from their Congressman. Click here to read more.

It’s completly freaking me out how much more I’m hearing about racism happening in America. A story here out of my home town of Omaha where a former KKK member is on the Police force (Link). And isn’t it 2006? Why are we hearing stories that black children are being forced to the back of the bus for white children (Link)?

So it brings up the question. When are the sins of the pasts forgiven? Is there ever truely a clean slate? Why does someone feel it’s okay for Robert Henderson (someone who was an admitted former clan member) to be trusted with the security and saftey of the citizens and not forgive Stanley "Tookie" Williams (someone on deathrow who spent the last days of there lives trying to prevent kids from joining the very gangs he started) (Link).

I saw something on the History Channel that showed the clan and how it came in and out of pop culture as if it were a fad. What is wrong with this country? When are people going to wake up and realize what is happening?
