Okay since I’m downloading all these iPhone apps, to see what else is out there in the market I thought I’d start to share some of the fun, and not so fun releases that I picked up.  I’m also creating a new category 99cent, that way if your looking for a bargin on a budget you can find an app quick an easy

I’ve only checked out the free trial version of Crazy Penguin Catapult but I enjoyed it so much that I picked up the currently on sale full version for 99 cents!  Though I think it’s only for this week as they get ready to relase Crazy Penguin Catapult 2.

I’ve found Crazy Penguin Catapult a great time killer while your waiting in line some where.  It’s perfect to play – pause kind of game.  Take your Penguin’s and toss them at the Polar Bears, sounds easy, well it’s harder than you think.

Slingbox really freaked me out with the early reports that the “older” Slingboxes may not be compatible with the iPhone app.  Well I am happy to say that I took the risk, picked up the software in the App Store and I am glad I did.

This is the best version of the Slingplayer mobile App that they have come out with.  Though it is annoying that I can’t stream via Edge it works flawlessly via WiFi.

I would be annoyed that I couldn’t run it on 3G if I were on AT&T, but since my iPhone is G1 on T-Mobile I’m not able to get anything more than Edge from T-Mobile.  So I’m not missing out on anything there.  And a majority of my time is spent near WiFi.

Now I’ve got my iPod sitting in my Flextune horizontally and I’ve got a nice portable TV that I can carry around.  The controls are very easy to learn and the favorites work very well in this configuration.  This is much easier to use than the WinMob version.
